What is #Limitless??? What does it look like,smell like,feel like!!
This has been swimming around in my mind the last few days & this morning I woke up to an incredible post by @lisaosbournebodyattack
We think/write/read/speak in slogans that talk about pushing past the pain/limits, training without an excuse of being tired, pain is temporary!
However could it be possible that #limitless is about owning your limitations and realising that embracing limitations holds the key to our ‘limitless’. Perhaps limitless is not always about “MORE” It’s about encompassing the “LESS” too.
It’s about pushing your limits as a superhero but also,as a superhero dealing with losing all your powers. Knowing who you are without the superpowers!
Coming back to basics,physically/emotionally and learning how to relate to it in a in a healthy, forgiving and humbling way.
Looking at a huge mountain which you’ve climbed in a blink, a dozen times, knowing you have to go right back to the bottom, and this time without a guarantee you’ll get to the top for what could be months!
Let’s face it, those of us who are in the fitness world, who strive for “more” for “faster,stronger,better,” are not very good at this, as we consider anything other then the bar being raised higher with each experience,not being enough! Wrong!
Limitless is not measured against “more” but how we cope when we have to embrace ourselves within our limits & only allowing thoughts which serve us in a positive way, thus creating limitless possibilities within our mind.... An athlete trains like a beast, IS a beast but could it be that an athlete trained all her/his life at a #limitless level to prepare for the biggest “training session” of her/his life.......to learn how to walk AGAIN......and knowing THAT is biggest Personal Best they’ve ever achieved.
