Not too long ago I was always known as the small skinny kid. I played sports my whole life so I knew I was fit and always in good shape. I don’t want to pull the bully card because it was never to the point where I actually felt depressed about how i looked or actually let people get to me so much that it hurt my feelings, I just shrugged it off. But deep inside I knew something had to change. My aunt got me a membership at a gym and from then on I was hooked. I gave myself a strict diet and researched everything I could about weightlifting and bodybuilding. I surrounded myself with people who not only wanted to succeed themselves but wanted to see me succeed as well. Since then i’ve put on around 40lbs and increased my strength tremendously. With hard work and the right mindset you can achieve anything you put your mind to. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey. I’ve got big plans in mind for the future, the grind never stops.

When you're not sure if your gains have stalled...take a selfie! Lol.
#whynot Any workout is better than no workout especially when it comes to weightloss, health and if your goal is to just get your body moving. But if you are trying to make serious progress in your physique QUALITY OVER QUANTITY. Push yourself. Maximize your efforts and make each workout, set and rep count for something. Its the ONLY way.

Oh, and you kinda gotta eat well. 😄

1️⃣ Single arm wave ➡️ 30
2️⃣ Double arm wave ➡️ 30
3️⃣ Double arm circle ➡️ 15
4️⃣ Weighted punches ➡️ 60
5️⃣ Medicine ball slams ➡️ 15
Repeat circuit 3 times. 4 times if you like torture 😜
Of course I didn’t record this until my very last set 😫 I’m glad I did so you can see the struggle. IT SHOULD BE HARD!!!!
Not everyday is like this but when I feel the energy, I make it count!!!

•The biggest PT in your gym?
•The Most Experienced? •The Ability to Motivate and Push you on? •Excessive qualifications and knowledge? •A Great Physique themselves? (and tan) 😉
•The ability to communicate well and personalise your training plan and approach? •The patience and desire to want you to achieve your goals? •The PT with the best looking clients in your opinion?
imagine having to only pick 2 attributes??? Luckily im not asking you to... but rather planting a seed of thought.. What is it your after?
Well what type of PT am i then?? Have i got the most experience? Nope... Have i got the most Knowledge? erm... Nope
Am i the biggest PT? Deff not!! lol
Well what do i have to offer you?? Simply put, i give you all i can give you!!! Il motivate you when you think ur already motivated.... il share all my knowledge with you, teaching you along the way appose to just telling you what to do... It might not be all the knowledge in the world, but what i know... youl know... I love what i do... and i love all my clients, and am humble enough to know without you guys i cant do what i love doing!! Am i the best PT in the area? prob not!!! have i alot to learn? Heck yes!! I used to be that person who said I'll NEVER track my food or count calories. And here I am posting about tracking my macros. But, the difference with tracking my macros and counting calories is it is not a diet. It is just a more efficient way to consume your calories, by making the most of what you feed your body. I have never felt "restricted" by counting my macros, because I don't restrict myself on foods I want to eat! You can literally eat whatever foods you want, as long as you fit it into your macros.
I'm freakin amazed with the results I've seen these past few months. And I feel SO GOOD because I'm feeding my body the right amount of protein, carbs and fats for my body to function at its highest potential. Macro tracking is not for everyone, but if you have a healthy relationship with food but want to ramp up the results you're getting from your workouts, this might be something to try.
I told myself I'd try it for just a few weeks and I'm here months later still doing it and still loving it! Plus it's fun trying to figure out your meals and trying to get as close as possible to your targets🤓
For anyone wondering, I use myfitnesspal to input my food and a scale to measure my portions. If you're new to tracking, I recommend not guessing your portions, you will likely be way off lol. I paid less than $10 for a scale from Amazon.

🥘Happy Hump Day, everyone! Haven’t shared a recipe in a while.🥘 .
🥘As part of this week’s meal prep, I’m still keeping things simple. 😁 Kind of threw this one together w/ a few items I already had in my pantry (& fridge), but turned out REALLY tasty! 👌 .
•1 lb lean ground turkey
•1 can Rotel diced tomatoes & green chiles (no salt added)
•1 bag organic Spanish Rice (by @seedsofchange – Their rice flavors are SO good, made w/ whole, organic ingredients & only take 90 seconds to make!) #momwin .
🥘Brown meat in a large skillet w/ homemade taco seasoning (or your low-sodium favorite) & drain. Also, drain tomatoes. Cook rice per bag instructions. .
🥘Add all ingredients together in skillet & simmer for about 5 minutes. Serve hot or portion out for your meals later. 👩🏻‍🍳 #mealprepideas .

Me now -> me 6 months ago

I'm now 15lbs heavier (wow lol thx summer) but it's done me well tbh. I know I look amazing either way and still have slight definition in my core (only when I flex tho lol). I miss being that lean, and I keep looking back at photos and being all nostalgic. But I'm not going to do that anymore, because I'm gonna be that lean again. I'm officially starting to cut my weight. For a long time I questioned whether it was worth limiting myself from eating anything I want. But I've finally decided that yes, it is worth it. I know I will be at a healthier weight and living a healthier lifestyle, and I'm confident with who I am rn so I'm doing it for the right reasons.

Book recommendation: Discipline equals Freedom by @jockowillink .. most people can easily give you advice on how to eat and train to transform your body. But they’re advice often misses the most important ingredient to success: discipline. Without discipline, there is no real progress.
