Check out the article in my bio about an interview I did recently for Inc about the importance of deliberately defining your leadership brand in the hospitality industry. Often times women who work in male dominated industries adapt their behaviors to the leadership style of the men around them. It’s no wonder strong female leaders are labeled as aggressive, bitchy, overly emotional, and so on. Men don’t have it easy either. They have to deal with phrases such as “man up” or “grow a pair”. What would happen if we embraced our unique style of leading and unapologetically owned our voice?
