"And it came to pass that I beheld others pressing forward, and they came forth and caught hold of the end of the rod of iron; and they did press forward through the mist of darkness, clinging to the rod of iron, even until they did come forth and partake of the fruit of the tree." ~1 Nephi 8:24 @heisrisen.photo
It's a nice feeling when you accomplish a project. Sending this cute 4" Provo City Center Temple to it's new home this week 😊💕 I'm quite proud of how it turned out. What's on everyone's list of things to accomplish this week??
I realized I forgot to do #templetuesday yesterday and actually for the last couple weeks too. Life gets a little crazy after you have a baby but I wouldn't change it for the world! It's such a comforting feeling knowing that because of the promises I made in the temple that I am sealed to my little family for eternity. I hope everyone's week is going well! We're already to the halfway point! Is it just me or do the days just fly by when you have a newborn?? P.s. In case you were wondering, this is the Idaho Falls temple.
I'm sure many of you have noticed my lack of posting this week. I'm so so happy to announce that I finally had my little girl this Sunday and she couldn't be more perfect! I'll try not to overwhelm my feed with baby pictures but we are so glad to have her "home sweet home". I hope everyone has been having an awesome week in my absence 😊💕
I am so excited to share my latest project with y'all! This is my new and improved dining area. The church pew is definitely my favorite part.💙 My father-in-law actually made it about ten years ago (I remember when he made it because I was dating my hubby in high school at the time lol) and I've always loved it. It was used outside on the porch for seating, but over the years it received a lot of wear and tear, so I decided to bring it in, clean it up, and repaint it! I think it turned out pretty spectacular, especially the sides with the angel Moroni. The rest was easy. I bought the table from someone on a Facebook for sale group for $30 and painted it grey, then I brought these wooden fold-up chairs out from the attic. These chairs were going to be a temporary fix until I bought new chairs, but I actually kinda like them there. They were my grandma's and I love the vintage feel they give to this area.
Let me know what you think! I'd love to hear opinions/suggestions from y'all! 😊
