I've been secretly drafting & re-drafting our Vermont A-frame plans for months and thought I'd share the first go-round. The add on has since been eliminated and we decided on a separate studio instead of one as part of the house. I love drawing floor plans.
By now I would imagine every one knows that I am big fan of laser distance measuring. I have been using the @milwaukeetool 330 ft Laser distance measure for keeping my lines parallel and measuring long tji joist measurements.I have been finding some great features that I have really been enjoying. Having different options for measuring has been great. I really like being able to use a LDM to find length, surface area, total area, and volume. Another small feature I like is the on screen level. This is useful for shooting at long distances to ensure the accuracy. Then we have a feature that is a must have for any laser measuring device. The 3 position auto detecting level. This helps when you want to shoot a diagonal measurement from a inside corner. It also helps when put it into the 90° position to hook onto an object to assures accuracy when you have the measurements set to that bottom of the device. Less room for user error. Now there is a couple things I would like to see improvement on. Although not a huge deal they were still small issues. One of them is the laser flickers. Not sure exactly why or if this was intended but very annoying and the other I wish the screen was brighter. #milwaukee#milwaukeetools#laser#ldm#measuring#accuracy#efficient#layout#framers#beatsatapemeasure#nothingbutheavyduty#nbhd
