Make Your Idea 🔥! #LAUNCH______
#launchpreneur The key to your launch isn't amazing marketing or even brilliant strategy/creative. The key is having a “gotta have it” idea. And if you don't have a “gotta have it idea”...your idea won't launch. In the movie business we talk about a film crushing the “wanna see” factor. I usually say you gotta be super honest with yourself about if your product has the “gotta have it” factor, the” X factor”, the “hotness” or the FIRE. I'm sure you know that no mother believes she has an ugly baby, right? Most people that make movies or products feel like it's their baby. And they almost never believe their baby is ugly. But most of the people I have met with over the years have products that ARE NOT FIRE...yet. They don't have the “gotta have it” factor. But if they put more love, more perspective and more strategy into their idea itself...it could have FIRE. So what exactly do you mean, Rick? I mean exactly and simply what I'm saying to you...your product needs to be FIRE if it's going to launch. So how do you know it’s FIRE? Come on. Let's be honest. You know when you gotta have a product or must see a movie. Right? You need THAT. So how do you get there? You need to do some testing and mini launches with friends and strangers and more friends and strangers before you scale and go for your big launch. It's not rocket science. Just walk it out and keep iterating. Your gunna fail a little. Feel good about that. You only get one chance to make a first impression. You don't want to try to go wide with your product before you have an good one. And by good I mean FIRE. A key part of my success launching movies is to show early cuts of the movie to key influencers BEFORE they were finished to get their honest feedback...make them feel like part of the process and they’ll help make it FIRE. (You can read more online about “Cinema Score). My squad at Motive did it for “The Passion of the Christ”, “The Chronicles of Narnia”...and “The Shack” just this weekend. I’ve also done the same for launches of everything from “The Purge”, “The Lord of the Rings” franchise...and virtually every movie I’ve worked on. REST FACEBOOK..
