This Balance-Power workout is probably why he’s one of the best route running receivers in the game!
I can see how this exercise helps his ankle strength/mobility/and quickness in making tight angled cuts against some of the best athletes covering him.
This was too much fun and a complete game changer compared to my balance exercises. *Gradually progress your balance ability to this exercise, don’t do this without any proper experience*

The body fascinates me:
The way you can chip away fat, build muscle, and just completely transform it. All through movement, repetition, loads, nutrition & proper programming.

I just think it’s the coolest thing on earth is how every single body will react differently even if two people with similar body types followed the same exact programming.

The body is pretty freaking neat, you have ONE and one only so make sure you take care of it. And make sure it is the body YOU want to have and if it’s not figure out how to create it.

I started recording myself in the gym about a month ago & it has been the best thing for me. You learn a lot about your form and what you need to work on. You notice so many minor things about your form that you wouldn’t have noticed otherwise. I’ve gained a lot of control since watching my lifts and I recommend you record yourself from time to time to see what you can work on to improve! Never be satisfied.

To be honest, it took everything I had to force myself to get up to complete tonight's workout. I laid in bed watching a show (so comfy) but I just kept imagining how much I would hate myself tomorrow, if I just let the laziness take over.
Because I did get up and handle business, not only do I feel accomplished and closer to my goal BUT I fought through that self destructive behavior I am that much stronger💪~
Never settle for temporary comfort or wavering fulfillment 💯

Have I lost muscle? Yes. Have I been spending 6-8 hours a day on learning a new skill because it’s challenging me like nothing else has? Yes. Have I neglected to lift weights for 4 days straight and instead focus on other priorities because of the goals I have set? Yes. I would love to say “screw this homework” or “I’ll practice some other time with my group members. Lifting is more important”. But that wouldn’t make me fulfilled. What makes me fulfilled is chasing my dreams every single day. Every minute of every hour of every week of every month, I am fighting. And the fight just beginning. #thankful for this new path. Thankful for the 12-14 hour days. Thankful for the grind and how much I am being challenged by people who are much further ahead in life than I am. Because the only way to succeed is to push yourself and feel overwhelmed. The only way to progress is being better than you were yesterday. I love this grind and the transformation incurring as a result.

Honestly, 50% of the reason that I'm happy that I decided to sign up for training is that now someone will hold me accountable for showing up to the gym even when I actually have a good excuse to not be there because I'm scared of disappointing people. 😅
Today was my 4th 12 hour day without a break in a row and allllll I wanted to do was go home and sleep, BUT I meet with my trainer tomorrow and I needed to be able to tell her I got here! Strictly cardio and abs tonight and it was an amazing workout session 🙌🏽 Decided to try working on my dragon flags which honestly I havent tried in YEARS!
