MY BLOOD "BED"
Ok so gross pic but there is a point to this image.
Last year I added another tattoo to my collection and this was my tribute tattoo to my old gsd dog, which I have on my right upper arm.
There is so much shading on this that it was so sore, but I went to bed that night with it exposed to help it heal.
So what's my point?
This is to do with those clients that lose lashes in their sleep, wake up with them in the pillow, their face or they always lose their very outers only.
We ask them: " have to slept on that side, rubbed your eyes on the night?"
They of course swear blind that they sleep on their back and NEVER move - like ever!!!!
So it must be us, that our attachment is bad and as such in the night they just " fall off"
So back to the story:
I went to sleep on my left side, keeping my sore right arm exposed. I woke up in the morning still on my left side having had what I thought was an uninterrupted sleep.
As I rolled over I saw this, blood all over my sheets. When I counted I could see there were 8 splatters - so 8 times I rolled onto my seriously painful arm and rolled back with no recollection of this despite the pain I was in.
And it was this that made me fully realise that we have NO idea what we really get up to in our sleep - we think we do but lashes DO NOT just fall off ( ok on the odd occasion they do ) but most of the time they are " helped" along the way whether unknowingly or not!!! Please feel to share my gross pic if you feel it may assist lol
