Hi guys! Ive been away a bit because I’ve been struggling with my health a bit, but also because I went on a two day trip to my relatives in Norway (I’m from Sweden). I’m sharing some of the vacation photos here with you to show you the grand beauty of the Swedish and Norwegian nature.
These pictures are from Tännforsen, the largest waterfall in Sweden. We made a short stop there before lunch. It takes between 4-5 hours to drive from where I live to my closest living Norwegian relatives, but it’s more than worth it. The way there is so beautiful. Through thick Swedish forest, high up on the round mountains of northern Sweden (a type of mountain that we call ”fjäll”. They look more like high rounded hills that are in a soft blue hue in the distance), passing the border between the countries and suddenly having to drive zigzag between huge mountain walls in Norway that have some small waterfalls along them, down into a wild river. Coming out on the countryside, sheep wandering freely (unlike in Sweden), green fields of wheat and fjords in the far distance.
In landscapes like this I feel truly home.
