There’s lots of sacrifice leading up to a fight. Anyone who fights and is committed to their craft knows that in preparation to a fight there’s gonna be less time spent with family, friends, GF/BF and kids. Giving up sleep, your favorite foods to pushing your body past its limit and draining your body during weight cuts for something that Isn’t always guaranteed. You can’t control the outcome of a fight. Anything can happen at any given moment.
What you can control is your Cardio, technique, sticking to the game Plan and Keeping your hands up. All that also comes with the will to win, the will to push yourself even when your tired and your body doesn’t wanna push forward anymore.
All respect to my opponent from Saturday night, the dude came to fight. Brandon’s a good competitor but so am I.
Id like to say thank you to the man behind the scenes #CoachFelipe of @SandovalCombatSports for the time, wisdom, advice and mitt/pad work you’ve done with me leading up to this fight. Thanks to all my teammates for drilling, sparring and clinching with me the last few weeks during fight camp. Thanks to everyone from @socalfightfactory who had a part of my training camp.
