Holy #throwback on the left 😳 When I decided that I wanted to be a personal trainer it was because fitness truly changed my life. I love what I do more importantly those who I have had the blessing of training have made huge strides in their own journey and I’ve been able to witness it🤗✨ When you really decide to make it a lifestyle and not just a diet or something you do to look good only during the summer then you won’t have to keep starting over. #transformationtuesday left picture was after I had dropped the first 30lbs (2016) my stomach still wasn’t getting the point 😩 Hence the stressful look on my face o😂🤦🏽‍♀️ Right is a few nights ago 🙋🏽🏋🏽‍♀️😏 I get it it’s hard you want to eat whatever you want or maybe it’s just you don’t want to be on a specific diet or go to the gym or can’t find a workout regimen that works for you but that’s because you keep making excuses 🤷🏽‍♀️ It’s not about weight loss it’s about being around 20-30 years from now and in good health👌🏾 It’s not about fitting into a specific size or a number on a scale. I enjoy being able to run and not get out of breath a few minutes in. 🙋🏽 I didn’t get surgery, no magic pill or special tea 🍵Consistency 💪🏾👊🏾 #goodmorning

New week... Same struggle 😂😩🤦🏽‍♀️ Let’s be honest it’s hard to stay consistent when you aren’t training for a specific event. That’s only because when you train for something you usually are on a specific diet and workout regimen. Yet if you do it right you can develop a workout plan that works for your specific lifestyle on an everyday bases 🙋🏽👌🏾🏋🏽‍♀️ When I get with clients I don’t tell them stop eating all carbs or stay on 800cal a day meal plan. I tell them what they should stay away from which is usually only processed foods and things high in sugar (unless it’s a cheat meal) give them an approved grocery list and advise them on staying consistent with their water intake and portion control😏🙋🏽 Get real with yourself find something that works FOR YOU! Then you’ll be able to maintain long term fitness goals ❤️👌🏾✅ #fitnesstip

Truth be told by Friday morning I’m burnt out 😅 Between training clients, boot camps, my boys and training myself on top of replying to DMs, texts and fb messages it takes a toll but I LOVE what I do! (If you know me then you know I barely answer phone calls nowadays 😫) . On top of that I still have goals that I personally want to meet🙋🏽 So that means I have to work harder no shortcuts, no quick fix, NO EXCUSES 🤸🏽‍♂️💪🏾👏🏾 Trust me if I can so can you 🤗💋 _

So a few weeks ago while I was getting my hair done the woman who owns the beauty salon who also does my hair asked if I would come there and train them. I told her yeah why not 🤷🏽‍♀️ Well not only was she serious but a few clients of her’s personally also showed up and joined in tonight! It’s gone from Sunday’s to 3xs a week🙏🏽😊 Today this young lady helped count and helped me lead the class. That saying do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life... So decided to finish my workout at home today 🙃 Truth is I didn’t have enough time to finish at the gym so instead of just making an excuse I used the new sliders I ordered from amazon along with my son Gabriel who is about 57lbs to do some exercises at home! Needless to say it was an adventure😂🤸🏾‍♀️🤸🏽‍♂️ Really going to focus on making in home workouts using bands and sliders for those who can’t get to a gym 💪🏾for those with little ones like myself try incorporating your child into the workout it makes it fun for them and easier for you to get through the workout 🙋🏽 Happy Friday 😘💕👋🏾 #athomeworkouts #lafamiliafitness
