This is a meal I served at my #mmpthealthretreat a couple weeks ago. Some ppl would consider this a cheat meal...gasp..with all the bread and vino! .
I have clients who can lose weight eating exactly this way, and others who opt for the whole 30, keto, vegan etc.

I have clients who train several times a week and run regularly and others who literally only do 15-20 min workouts several times a week. Some who do heavy strength training and others who love metcon workouts.

There are so many options when it comes to health & fitness, how can you know which is right for you and which option will help you achieve your goals?

I know that some girls don’t like training lifting cos they don’t want to look “manly”, but that won’t happen. Us ladies don’t have the same levels of testosterone as men. Men are genetically more capable of building a lot of muscle way faster than us.

People do lift weights to add size, but resistance training burns a shit load of calories and is so effective for fat loss 🔥 Plus as you’re strength and muscle mass increases, so will the amount of calories you burn! 🔥

Strength training while trying to lose weight will help you keep those feminine curves and can reduce the loss of bone mass and risk of osteoporosis as we age.

Weight lifting is also a HUGE stress reliever (exercise in general is tbh, so if running is your thing then do that!). Resistance training can help improve your cognitive function, neuromuscular efficiency and increase your metabolic rate! #ladieswholift 🏋🏻‍♀️

Like most, Fleur came to me with the impression that she needed to spend half the day on a treadmill in the gym in order to lose weight.
A while with nothing happening and feeling frustrated, she reached out to me.
We've now made her diet flexible so that she can still eat all the foods that she enjoys whilst losing weight.

We've developed her knowledge and educated her on weekly energy balances, weight fluctuations, calorie cycling etc.. And introduced to effective weight training which is resulting in great changes in her body composition.

Raise your hand if you feel like you practically live in your car 🙋🏻‍♀️. I’m pretty much always on the go so having snacks stashed in my car, bag and office is crucial for me.

Planning out meals is definitely helpful but having snacks on hand is almost JUST as important. Snacks can make or break you and if you don’t have healthy options at your finger tips you are much more likely to make a poor choice...or eat nothing at all!

If you want to avoid the drive thru or those vending machines at work try keeping protein bars on hand. My current faves are Rx bars and I stock up when they are on sale at Kroger. Get ya some 👍🏻
