Day 4: Parson’s Landing to Two Harbors: 7.7 miles
We woke up and watched the sun rise while eating gross oatmeal.
Packed up and headed out, excited to be done!
This part of the trail is what Kamil had done the previous day.
It’s just a dirt road, we maybe passed 4 cars the entire time.
We walked by the boy scouts camp and from above could look down to see a few boat-in campsites.
Although the road was flat and easy, my body was over it after the previous few days.
Four miles in I wanted to quit.
I kept thinking of a quote from @carrotquinn’s book- “I need to get off this fucking trail.” But compared to her hiking I had nothing to complain about.
I had something in my left shoe poking me, yet I was too lazy to take my shoe off and get it out, and a blister forming on my right foot.
Finally, I’ve never been so happy to see a mile marker say 38.
We were done!!
