I had another rough night last night but rested all morning, then took myself into town to return some things I bought on Friday.
This is a big deal because of a few things:
1) I've never been to town on my own in my wheelchair.
2) I used to work in town before I retired and so going there is high on the anxiety scale because I had a bad time before I finished.
3) It's hot.
4) It was lunchtime.
But I made it!
I took it as a sign that the parking gods were on my side as the one disabled bay right outside M&S was available.
I did my returns, crossed over to Superdrug for some hair dye I may or may not get round to using, then back to M&S to pick up lunch and some milk.
The second photo is my elated face after loading everything back into the car, feeling very proud of myself for getting out and doing that, even though it was really scary. You can just make out part of my wheelchair in the top right corner. It fits in the boot of my tiny car quite happily.
