For this week's recommendation I've chosen "Wonder" by R.J. Palacio 📚
This story is just amazing, I loved everything in it and I think everyone should read it, because there's something special about this book😉
And it will be a movie adaptation soon😊
---

DOCTOR SLEEP BY STEPHEN KING 📚
(English review is below)😉

I've finally read this book! it was in my TBR for so long
So, Doctor Sleep is the sequel to the King's famous "The Shining", which, incidentally, didn't impress me
This story is about life of an unusual boy, Danny, after the events in the hotel. He is no longer a little boy with special powers, but a grown man, with adult problems and a complicated life. The book covers a significant time period and I liked it. New characters, interesting storyline and unexpected plot twists, as well as the unique style. For me Doctor Sleep was much better than The Shining. Perhaps, because the author wrote this book not only for the sake of the reader, but also guided by his own curiosity (as he writes in the afterword). And the style here is more contemporary. A lot of references to popular things. idk
I won't describe the plot, because of spoilers. And the plot is wonderful, I liked the idea with a kind of "vampires" who feed on the shining. In short, I highly recommend this book

IT'S KIND OF A FUNNY STORY BY NED VIZZINI📚
Читала вместе с @mazeisokay 😉
I think that this book is great. I mean, even the fact that it is based (or inspired by) on the author's experience makes this story special.
Almost all books about depression, suicide, mental health have this negative tone, which makes me (as reader) a bit sad and unable to empathize with the characters. This story is different. I liked how there is an appropriate humor and how the character's thoughts related to my own. It made me think about some thing in my life and what is important in life and what we need to appreciate in our lives for. There are so many amazing things worth living for, it's just you need to find your "Anchors". 😊
I've never had depression or suicide thoughts, but I sometimes feel anxious about different stuff, and it actually annoys me. I think it is important to touch this topic in books, but not all the authors can do it in a right way. I mean, this story is not so sad, it has positive and inspiring moments and that's why I felt so involved. I also loved that main character developes a lot by the end of the book, his thoughts and emotions, even his perception of life has changed (maybe not globally) and it gave me some food for thought.
I definitely recommend this book for everyone, who likes that type of literature. 😉
Sadly, Ned Vizzini didn't make it, he commited suicide (many years after he wrote this book), but this book can be considered as a guide for people suffering depression, it brings a message, that everything can be and will be better, just keep living and don't give up.😊

Hello bookstagram! 😊
So, we finally watched the new Spider-man movie and I loved it! I don't know how to review movies, but this one was good, I laughed a lot and visual effects were on point 😉

Hello bookworms!😊
I was thinking that I need to start a new thing on my "blog" and here it is😉
I've decided to post #bookrecommendation once a week, because I feel that I need to feature my favorite books more😄
For today it is "The Wrath and the Dawn" by Renee Ahdieh📚
A beautiful story about a very brave girl and a cursed boy-king. This novel is pretty dark, heart-breaking and sad, but also about love which has no boundaries. I love retellings and this book is a good interpretation of one well-known tale. And actually it is a duology. You can find my review on GR.😊 #thewrathandthedawn
And shame on me I didn't read the second book! 😳
Thank you @bookish.hearts for #strongfemalecharacters and #rereadworthy tags❤️

Thank you @heretherebeareader for #oldbooks tag❤️
Recently I've found out that my grandparents own a great collection of books which were published during 1970s
It is called "Library of World Literature" and includes about 200-250 volumes. And my grandparents have almost all of them 😳
There are so many great authors such as Steinbeck, Dickens, Wilde, Tolstoy etc, some of the books contain ancient poetry, legends and every book has beautiful illustrations.😊
I think it can be considered a treasure as soon as it was really hard to collect so many books from this series at that time and now, not to mention they have beautiful covers😉

PET SEMATARY by Stephen King📚
Another great work from Master of horror stories. I really enjoyed this book😊
I think this is a very sad story. Creed family is facing the most horrible things, it is just undescribable.
The beginning is a bit slow paced, but I liked that mysterious atmosphere and a little bit of innuendo, which makes you think that something really bad will happen. The structure of the novel is pretty simple, but the style is so good, one day I've noticed that I've read over 100 pages in one sitting.😄
I also liked how author touches "death" topic here, I mean, we have different points of view on it (little girl, a woman, old man etc) and it gave food for thoughts.🤔
and it is not Stephen King without mystery, creepy old legends and all those special things people love his books for😉
---

The most exciting month of the year for me will definitely be July 😊
I will be travelling this month, and I've waited for this since I was 15 maybe, but I'll tell about it a bit later😉
Here's my July TBR and my plans are probably too enthusiastic😅
1) It's Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini📚
2) Everyting is Illuminated by Johnathan Safran Foer📚
3) The Crane Wife by Patrick Ness📚
4) Dr. Sleep by Stephen King📚
Did you read any of these?
