Honestly, some of the best experiences in my life were with women.
However, some of the worst too 🤣
Nevertheless, I'm extremely grateful for all of them, because I've learned so much from my relationships. The serious ones and merely for "fun" ones.
The greatest lessons I've learned are the following ones:
1. BEING "ME"
If I want to be free I have to be me and not being who you really are, just attracts the wrong person into your life.
2. IMPORTANCE OF COMMUNICATION
Avoiding conversations because of the possibility to make yourself or the other person feel bad, will ultimately lead to the most painful conversation.
The last one before you part forever. -
3. SELF - AWARENESS
Why am I reacting like this in certain situations? Why am I feeling that way? Why is my behavior not in alignment with my desires?
I always thought that I'm self - aware, until I understood that I never really was "aware" of myself.
4. KNOW YOURSELF
Who am I? What do I stand for? What are my values? What do I want and especially what do I not want?
Questions that got revealed thanks to the women in my life.
4. SELF - LOVE
How can I love anyone if I don't love myself first?
5. SELF - ACCEPTANCE
Only if I accept myself for what I truly am, I'm able to be free and start to love myself. However, not in a narcissistic way, please 😅
6. DEEPER CONNECTION TO MY EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL SIDE
Women helped me get access to these sides. So that I actually could go and work on them on my own.
Neglecting these sides means neglecting a huge part of your human existence and experience.
8. CLEANING UP PAINFUL MEMORIES
You shouldn't abuse your partner for this. I for myself went through a therapy, because I knew it would be too much to bear for a relationship. Yet, some relationships were truly therapeutic.
9. THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN YOUR LIFE IS - YOU!
People come and go, but you'll be always with yourself. Grant yourself the attention and importance that you deserve.
10. RELATIONSHIP GOAL
Be in a relationship with a person that genuinely helps you become the person that you want to be and vice versa.
I believe that we are better together 👫
