For all those vegetarians/vegans 🌱 out there: Chickpeas are a great source of plant-based protein, & is a great food to eat if you’ve been lacking essential nutrients when avoiding animal products, ie. IRON, zinc, folate, B vitamins, etc.
When avoiding meat it is extremely easy to develop an iron deficiency, causing signs of Anemia - such as fatigue, weakness, shortness of breathe, sensitivity to the cold, etc.
I learned the hard way to make sure you keep up with your vitamins, which is why I want to pass my tips on to you! 💉So make sure to get your blood work done at least once a year to fullyunderstand what your body needs to function properly, so you can live your best life!!
