Do you know? Are you sure? Can you even be sure? These are the kinds of introspective questions that should be answered while you spend your minutes, hours, and days toiling away at whatever it is you do with your time.
Why photography? Why people? Or places? Or things?
Knowing why helps you to keep everything in check, and gives you a reference point to all aspects of your project, assignment, or life. If ever there's something that stumps you, knowing why you do what you do can help to answer the seemingly unanswerable questions and continue moving forward while adhering to your cause and purpose.
So why are you doing what you do? I'm working on Lens Therapy with you all because I strive to help others, specifically photographers, learn what they need to know to do what they want to do. I'm here for you.
So, take some time to consider why it is, exactly, that you use your time in the ways that you do. You can take note of it and use the self-reflection to help guide you along your journey--and you could even go so far as to share your "why" with the rest of us so that we may learn and use it in our own lives. Share your thoughts in a comment below and check out the others already written down there. I've already gotten us started up here. 👊😊 - Chris
