The Foundation’s support of Spoons Across America contributes to Spoons Recipes Days, a culinary and nutrition education program for fourth graders in New York City schools. The curriculum uses hand-on activities to engage students in exploring, preparing and tasting healthy foods. Students not only experience new foods, but also learn how to talk about them. Each lesson is also a chance for students to develop culinary skills, while also learning about kitchen science and food origins.
