Deyton|| We woke to a chilly morning. The fireplace was bare, and the warmth left the house sometime during the midnight hours. Kelly dressed in a cute Denim, and I bundled in a sweater, and bomber jacket.
I started the car ahead of time; an attempt to warm it’s crisp leather seats. Once we sat down, Kelly’s frozen hands spun the knob, blasting the heat towards our feet.
Time passed, and we pulled in to @mycoffeeroseburg
Excited—anticipating a warm cup to wrap our hands around. We chose a spot in the sun where it would be warm. It wasn’t. The bright rays brought comfort though.
We shared a breakfast croissant—bomb! We laughed a little and left. We love a good, low lit day. It made for good scenery, even if the sun couldn’t be present. We started in Downtown Sutherlin, OR, eventually making our way to old town Oakland, OR. We often talk about living there.
Our journey wrapped us around the country roads, eventually landing us under this historic bridge. Moments like this feel like time travel; a fraction of the passed, placed in a wild world. Like an elder at the playground.
Our journeys eventually brought us home, where I started a fire for my chilled wife. She made coffee, because — why not? Then we began researching tiny homes...like we always do,😉. #theingvalsons
