Kimichi is a fermented food, which is a staple of the Korean diet. It provides numerous health benefits, for example it contains large amounts of healthy bacteria and is loaded with vitamins A, B and C.
Healthy bacteria play a vital role in modulating the immune system, reduce the risk of autoimmune conditions and allergies as well as help to keep us in shape and prevent us gaining weight. Studies have shown that having a good amount and diversity of the 'good guys' in your gut can help you to lose weight and keep it off.
