Today I helped someone navigate their essential rewards monthly wellness box. Tonight I will be getting my hubs set up with his own account on my team! This week I have a new member coming on board to get their essential oils starter kit!

To have a business that helps people flourish in their health + also allows them the same opportunity to run their own business at the same cost is pretty much the coolest!
This biz also allows willable income once you reach a certain point. Ummmm hello!!!!! Amazing right?!! It allows you to work at your own pace and make your own hours. There is no "price is right model" awkward product demos or driving people nuts with weird and awkward five minute posts with generic graphics. Instead, it is just sharing how much wellness helps you and your family. It is laid back classes in pjs talking over oils and all the unicorn things! It is being about of a sweet community. It is a dream chasing adventure! So thankful I said yes and jumped in!

Soup season is here! Today I’m making chicken stock loaded with herbs and turmeric. This pot will be use to make some butternut squash soup that we will eat for lunch this week. I love to sprinkle pumpkin seeds and fresh herbs like thyme, cinnamon, and sometimes oregano on my fall soups. I have a thing for birds, and birds have a thing for me. Wherever I go I tend to have feather friends show up and say hello. This morning I was unbelievably lucky to receive a visit from this majestic beast. I am pretty sure it’s a juvenile red-tailed hawk. We spent some time chatting with each other (really, he made noises and stayed calm for a good 5 minutes while I was about 3 feet away) and I felt an amazing sense of peace in its presence. Hawks are messengers from the spirit realm and they announce the need for focus and honing your intuition. They also remind you to examine a situation before making a decision and can help remove obstacles blocking your line of sight (physically, emotionally, and spiritually). Last night’s full moon and this morning’s visitor have definitely awakened a new sense of direction and purpose within me. Hello winter... seriously it’s chilly today! Give me all the hot coffee ☕️ I don’t know about you but I wanted a little more fall, instead we got a few fall days and then BAM ❄️ All of us woke up a little stuffy this morning, so I’m on my stories chatting about my favorite oils for this time of year to help support our immune system! Hey Everyone!!! We are super excited to let you know that we are now offering GRIT P.E Day Camps! These will be day camps that will be held on all Public Board AND Catholic Board P.E. Days! GRIT Camps are Day Camps for children ages 8-12 offered by us, GRIT Windsor! During our camps, kids will be participating in a variety of interactive life skills workshops focusing on topics such as Empathy, Nutrition, Teamwork, Self Esteem and Respect (just to name a few!). They will also engage in different high intensity workout sessions! Through games, group activities and discussions your child will learn all about health, wellness and fitness in an environment that makes everything FUN!

Did you know children stress out, get agitated and feel nervous just like adults do? Children feel their parents anxiety and sense tension at home, which can cause them to worry. Children who watch the news and listen in to adult conversations can become stressed. Changes in routine, over scheduled kids, school changes, and separation from parents can cause stress in children too. When their is a family illness, a divorce, or death of a loved one, kids may become stressed. Be mindful of changes in your child's behavior, mood, attention, and emotions. What we think isn't a big deal, can be a huge stressor for children.

Essential oils can be so helpful to kids who are dealing with stress, nerves and anxious feelings. Essential oils can help to calm emotional responses, comfort and balance mood/emotions. Today (besides being national coffee day) was #familyhealthandfitnessday 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦💪🏻 The boys love working out and today they joined my for yoga. The also love how @beachbody has kid friendly programs that makes them feel like they have something that’s their own. Today we talked about how many kids their age are obese and very unhealthy and I encourage them to workout, eat healthy, and spread that need to others. When it comes to kid's tiffin, it's a big task for all parents. Here are some quick healthy yummy "kid's tiffin option's" with balanced nutrition which give sign of relief to all parents.

1. Hung curd sandwich is one of the best & quick preparing tiffin box option. Hung curd is good source of proteins by simply adding chopped favorite veggies of your kids with dash of herbs & salt will enhance the flavor. Add between multigrain bread, wrap in foil & its ready. Additional tip parents can add half tsp of spread cheese to enhance more flavor.

2. If you kid likes chinese roti noodles is another health version. Roll the rotis cut into thin round. When you open them it becomes noodles. Cook them in less oil by adding your kids favorite veggies & done. Additional tip you can add sprouts or paneer or chicken to give balanced protein punch.
3. If you kid's love franky! Give them healthy version. To make this use whole wheat or multigrain roti where you child will get fiber & carbs too. To apply on base you can use green chutney or hummus. Stuff it with mixed veggies as per your kids liking next followed by adding paneer or tofu or chicken. Additional tip you can use herbs like oregano, chilly flakes, basil, rosemary if you kids like.

4. Parents if you are running out of time somedays this tiffin option can save your time. You can pre-prepare the tikkis by adding potato, veggies, little grated cheese & grated paneer or shredded chicken. Prepare the tikkis & store it in freezer, it will last for 7-8 days. Just before grilling or cooking in less oil thaw them for 10 minutes at room temperature. Give them in tiffin with green mint chutney or avocado dip. Additinal tip parent can add little oats powder to make it more stomach filling for kids as school hours are long.
5. Chicken pulav is another good tiffin option for your kids. Use brown rice to prepare pulav add yours kids favorite veggies & prepared shredded chicken. Additional tip once pulav is done you can add half tsp butter from top to enhance taste. Veggies can be chopped & stored in zip pouch bag to save chopping time.
