3:29:19. This is my first marathon were I did not stop to walk! It was non-stop. Sure by the end I was at 9:36 pace but I kept running! "Pain is temporary, Pride is forever, I thought to myself. I figure I make that a goal by mile.20 to the finish. Since I wasn't gonna break 3:17,-- which I was eta'd to do (according to me at miles 5, 10, and 16, theeeeen I tanked at around mile 22/23.) I felt fucking awesome from the start til around 18. It was really around then where it became a left brain right brain battle. "It's all mental." Half a mile to the finish, I was making grunting noises, then sprinted to the end 6:28 which I don't know how that became humanly possible. Because M22 was where I started to hit the wall. 7:45 to 8:32. M23 to M26 were my slowest, my legs couldn't open up their stride even I forced them to. Looking at my stats, I dropped to 11:02/mi between M25 and M26.
I'd do it again. High five! #kickedAsphalt #MarathonRunner #MarathonTraining #philadelphiaMarathon #TomTomSports #Philadelphia #KickedAsphalt #kickAsphalt
