Since I’m still recovering from a chest infection I’m not doing intense cardio workouts or lifting heavy right. But I am dead keen to get moving again. So full body kettlebell moves like these are perfect… when my cat will let me do them! 😽 .
Do anyone else’s pets interrupt their workouts? 😆 . . . . . . .
Up for a Friday challenge? #northernspirit Repost from @alexandrakolam using @RepostRegramApp - KB bottoms up OHS @24kg 💥 Cuz I love a good "challenge of the week" from @fa_optimalprestation 🎯 • Never tried this before, and I got to admit 24kg KB was a little heavy. Had to pushpress it. 16 & 20kg were fine! • Chose to do it barefoot to make it even more challenging 😳my left ankle was pretty stiff • Good test for shoulder strength/stability/mobility 🌟 Try it out and tag me 😀✌🏼️ You might want to use a helmet ⛑
Let's push it!! This was more fun than regular push-ups🙈 You need both balance and strong arms💪☝️ I did 10 which is a new record for me 👏 Try it!!!!! _____________________________________________________________.
Our head coach @heath_herrera is demonstrating the Kettlebell Around the World
Begin the movement with your feet shoulder width apart. Brace your core, keeping your eyes forward.
Start rotating the Kettlebell around your hips with a strong and stable core. As you take the kettlebell around your hips switch hands behind you. Once the kettlebell returns to the front of you body switch hands again.
Perform for total reps or time as indicated in your training plan. A few things to keep in mind as you perform the movement. Focus on keeping tension throughout the movement in your lower back and abdominals, & maintaining the proper position of your shoulders and shoulder blades. If performing for time switch directions of the movement at the halfway point.
