Don't get me wrong, I don't mind at all when people ask me about how I do keto! But it always makes me laugh when people ask me this. I didn't read any books. So #ketofam I need some advice. I've had some sort of tummy virus for about a week and it's wreaked havoc on my being able to stick to keto. What do you all do to be easy on your belly while still sticking to keto?

Ok #ketofam I need your assistance... I have been stuck between the same 3 pounds for WELL over a month... I try very hard to stay positive about it and to just keep on keepin on... but I feel like something's gotta give. I'm getting discouraged and I hate that feeling. There is no way I would give up keto or low carb, as I know I would gain back every thing I lost... but I am not done yet and would feel soooo much better if I could see a new number on that damn scale. I've been so close to onederland for awhile now and I just want to finally see it! Any advice would be appreciated. Here's what I typically do: Total carbs are NORMALLY under 20 and usually closer to 10-15. Net carbs are ALWAYS under 20. Calories range from 1000-1500, typically 1200. I usually intermittent fast from dinner till around 12, usually 16 hours. I don't drink soda. I use no artificial sweeteners, I use monk fruit liquid and stevia liquid. I only drink when thirsty so perhaps I could drink more water? But does it really make that much of a difference? Idk... I don't "work out" often. I usually go for a 2 mile moderately paced walk pushing my kiddo in a stroller 3 times a week, at about 40 mins. I don't have a gym membership. I have a lot of stress in my life, a lot of the time, maybe some meditation? I get very overwhelmed trying to think about the changes I should make or could make, things to do differently... so many conflicting ideas. I don't like feeling stuck in this rut. So I've had random Charley horses before but this is different. A few days ago I was woken to a bad Charlie horse that lasted several minutes. The next day I developed a feeling of pressure behind my knee and upper calf that is really annoying. Plus my calf is now spasming and I feel like it is going to cramp any second! I'm in nursing school and have read over and over and over about electrolytes, I know that's what it it's but has anyone found a balanced keto diet that helps with this!? My friend suggested the powerade zeros which I'm going to try, but I am willing to try about anything at this point. Time to REST. I lose weight the best when I get a MINIMUM of 8 hours of sleep. Years ago the doctors said it's imperative that I sleep 8 hours due to chronic fatigue from #PCOS. But everyone needs sleep for cell repair, brain function, and muscle recovery. You should aim for a minimum of 6 hours, 7-8 ideally, and if you have medical conditions there is a good chance that you need about 9 hours!
