Instagram seems to have become a popularity contest and that's not the life I want. I love my keto fam and the many friends I've found along the way. I appreciate each and every one of you. There's been a lot of drama happening with some of the bigger keto accounts and I've been asked my opinion on it several times. My answer is always along the lines of "it's not any of my business. I'm staying out of it", that is the adult thing to do. One person replied to me that they were trying to befriend of the the ladies involved so that they can be popular as well... I was taken aback. I thought it was selfish, but beyond that what do you get by being InstaFamous? Not much. Maybe some companies will give you free products to try or discounts, but I think what they were really seeking was validation. Perhaps they feel they aren't being recognized for the keto-awesomeness or maybe they are flat out lonely. But one thing is for sure, they need to work on self love. They need to realize that they are worthy in the here and now, exactly as they are. We all do. Because what the mean girls, or the popular girls, or the smart kids think of us doesn't matter! What we think of ourselves does!!! CLAP. FOR. YOUR. DAMN. SELF!
