Now that I have your attention with a cute cat, help! So yesterday we had a tasting with a wedding caterer. And since I'm not intending to force my diet on my wedding guests, we did taste the carb options. My fiancé tasted the red meat options and I did the chicken options, since I don't eat red meat. Guess who had the massively severe food poisoning last night? 👉🏻This bitch 👈🏻 So don't worry, I probably didn't absorb many of the carbs anyways lol. It was bad, like hugging the porcelain throne for 4+ hours with a fever of 103. My fiancé almost took me to the hospital. So I skipped work today to recover. I'm thinking I will need to eat something soon, but all the websites suggest BRAT after food poisoning- bananas, rice, applesauce, toast - aka carbs. As a good keto girl, I don't have any in the house! Any suggestions for keto friendly recovery foods? Something that won't come right back up cos of my recovery-mode tummy troubles? Any tips would be awesome!
