If I would list down some marginal points I have gained in working in Manila years back was to eat and drink which the then-brat Frank can not. Shawarma, red hotdog, longganisa, tapa, steamed siomai, and among most instant food. In a place where mama's kitchen is too far, I was forced to appreciate whatever can make me full. It was an experience I cherish because I learn to live a life that isn't just about a sizzling plate of sisig, a box of pizza nor a bar of chocolate. There would be days of plain fried chicken. But it won't make us lesser satisfied and full.
