Girls using tablets pre-loaded with educational software at their Instant Network Schools (INS) solar-powered classroom in a primary school of the Dagahaley refugee camp, in Dadaab, #Kenya.
The Instant Network School program was launched in Dadaab in October 2014 by the @vodafoneFoundation and #UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, with support from other private donors. It aims to improve access to quality education for displaced children through the use of technology and connectivity, alongside teacher training and capacity building support.
The program is currently operational in six primary schools, three secondary schools and four vocational training centres, benefiting over 14,000 children in four refugee camps in Dadaab.
