Riverdale High School graduate Jack Kelly is playing professional ultimate frisbee for the Madison Radicals in Madison, Wisconsin.
This will be his second season on the Radicals after missing the majority of last season with an injury.
The Radicals are one of the favorites to win the title in 2018.

Hardin Hills Health Center Director Mark Rogers hands over the keys to Elaine Roynon outside the facility as she replaces him.
Rogers has been the director of the county home for nearly eight years and will retire on Thursday.

Sculptor Tad McKillop works on the statue of Dr. Martin Luther King at his studio in Ann Arbor, Michigan, prior to it being shipped to the Ohio Northern University campus.
The bronze, life-size sculpture will be unveiled and dedicated at a ceremony Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in commemoration of Dr. King’s speech at the campus 50 years ago.

CIC member Peggy Harrison and technician Chloe Noel hold one of the pictures which is part of the collection of Mount Victory history on display at the Ridgemont Public Library’s Mount Victory location.

Outstanding senior scholars from four Hardin County high schools were recognized Tuesday night with the Franklin B. Walter Scholastic Award in a program at Kenton Elementary School.

The students also selected a teacher to be honored for their impact on the students’ lives.

The roof of the former Dunkirk United Methodist Church is pulled off by workers on Monday afternoon to take pressure off the front wall.
The church is being deconstructed by Barnwood Market of Williamstown.
The bricks and other parts of the church will be used for a new home in Pennsylvania.

Gary Shick of Kenton was named one of two 2018 Master Farmers for the state by the Ohio No-Till Council.
Shick has been using the no-till method of planting his crops for nearly 50 years and was one of the first in the county to try planting without plowing.
