This little chef is a picky eater! 👩🍳 She doesn’t mind eating pizza margarita, pasta in yoghurt or bolonese , plain rice, icecream, labanaheh and white cheese all day everyday and nothing else!
Last week I attended a session for picky eaters, Where @rulaqatamiabujaber gave some tips that I would like to share with you briefly;
1- Be a role model; this is really important to let the kids see you eating what you are offering them,
2- Keep on offering the food and never stop
3- Prepare meals together
4- Divide it; into small portions and bite size!
5- Shape it; 🐰either by cutting it into shapes, or making shapes out of what you have like a face with hair, eyes and so
6- Dip It in healthy dips like labaneh, Hummos...
7- Mash and spread; if they have some problems eating textured food this also works
8- Juice it🥤
9- Cookie it or Muffin it, 🥧eggs In veggies, fruits muffin... get creative it’s worth it
10-Color it; 🌈add some of their favorite colors to what you want to offer by using food coloring, they will love it.
I tried couple of these tips, and number 6 made my day when I saw her dipping a green pepper in labaneh and eating it. Thank you @rulaqatamiabujaber 💚💚 #pickyeater #healthyeating
