My initial thoughts on the Nike #KD9Elite. Same cushioning setup as the #KD9. The lacing setup here is different; instead of #Flywire cables, you have external rope laces anchored on the footbed, probably for increased lockdown, although the KD9 itself was already snug/narrow to begin with. If the #Flyknit here is softer, the new lacing setup could be a plus. Otherwise, we could be having more trouble fitting a pair, literally. Then there's what seems to be a one-piece neoprene-like bootie construction of the rear (from the collar down to the base of the heel). I'm guessing it's pretty much for cosmetics, although to a certain extent it may add a teeny wee bit of extra compression, or one that's probably barely noticeable. Overall, this still looks like great on-court performers just like the non-elite KD9. I have reviewed it before; you can look it up in my YouTube channel in case you missed it. What are your thoughts about the KD9 Elite?
