A couple serums I'm testing out right now. 〰
@katesomervilleskincare Wrinkle Warrior is a 2 in 1 moisturizer and serum. It's an interesting texture, almost jelly like. Oily people could use this as their sole moisturizer. I do see my crows feet plump up but I'll be testing this some more to see its effects and whether it lived up to its claims. This is the most serum like in the bunch, imo, but then again I'm used to Asian serums that are more watery and light feeling.
@yllobeauty Tumeric Face Elixir is a dryer one unless you accidentally over apply. That's a good thing for me, especially during the summer. I feel like it absorbs into my skin fairly quickly and doesn't leave my skin tacky which I like during the summer. The Elixir contains turmeric oil which is anti-inflammatory and helps give you some glow and combats acne. Note that this does have lavender and frankincense oils if you're sensitive. 10% of the profits is donated to charities working to end child marriage. I do feel like this has made my skin glow when I wake up in the morning and I have seen reduced redness that I get on certain parts of my face.
@supernaturalbody_usa Poshen serum contains hyaluronic acid, sea buckthorn oil, green tea and camellia oils which are all things I love. I consider this more of a heavy PM oil than a serum. It's a bit heavy for me for the summer but will be nice come the colder months. My skin feels plump after using it but unless I slather my moisturizer on after (this seems counterintuitive but it works for me) it takes a long time to penetrate. This does contain bergamot peel oil which I know a lot of people are sensitive to.
