Damn guys so @katastro posted that all good things must come to and end 🛑 if anyone knows me thy know I fuck with this band heavily. I remember the second time I saw them they played a free show at UNM in the sub. I went with my buddy @thedrewnivers . After the show I was talking to drew at the mercy table contemplating if I should use my last 10$ to buy their cd! (Which I would have ) but after I said that the lead singer @andyjchaves tapped me on the shoulder and brought me back stage and handed me a cd. Then he took it back and signed it and made everyone in the band sign it!! Since then I’ve seen them almost every time and always talk with them they are great dudes and we always talked about playing on the same stage. I also can’t wait to meet a fan like me and throw them our cd. I’m hella sad. So here’s my favorite song by them place you know by katastro
I had a nearly two hour long conversation with a couple of strangers last night about music. They came in and sat at my bar. Right away, one of them took note of the @iration song that had just come on. Then also knew the @atmosphere song that came after. We started swapping band names back and forth. Told stories about various shows we'd each been to. Found out we had been at a couple of the same ones recently. I sent them off with a small list of bands they hadn't heard yet. They promised to come back. . I have found it isn't often you find people who can carry on a long conversation about something like music. My whole life is music. It always has been. My most treasured relationships started because of a mutual love and understanding of what music can do for our minds and our souls. Music has power. When it comes from passion, love and understanding, there is nothing that can stop it. My faith in music and in people was raised a bit last night. For this, I am grateful.
