On This Morning...I began as usual with sunrise on the Holland Lake outlet. It wasn't long after I returned to the cabin that I noticed that a pack train was loaded and ready to head up into the Bob Marshall Wilderness. I had been wanting very badly to catch this event, because it isn't just anywhere one gets to see this, although it is a common way to go way into the back country during hunting season. I know it looks like repetitious images of the pack team, but my directions here are for you all to click through the images quickly so you can get a feel for how rapidly these mules moved. If you have a soundtrack that has hoof sounds play that for added effect. 😉 # clickingcoconutshellsonawoodentableworkwelltoo. # yeseehadtowatchcarefullywherewewalkedallweekthereweremostlypackanimalsthatgotoworkonthisroad🐴# owlcreekneighbors #jw_snapshots P.S. The last image shows them going onto the trailhead. I did cut the guy at the end of the train out of the one image because he was the most distracted rider. I thought he was going to fall off. I could have sworn he was texting and riding, except there was no cell signal whatsoever.
