The #JuvenileCourt Judge just closed the hearing to the media, which is allowed under state law when the defendant is a juvenile.
The defendant, 17, is #JholieMoussa ’s ex-boyfriend. He’s charged in a prior strangulation of Moussa.
Jholie Moussa disappeared after leaving her home on January 12. She was found dead in a park a half mile from her home on January 26.
#FairfaxCounty Police list the ex-boyfriend as a person of interest in Moussa’s murder.
The prosecutor in today’s hearing has five witnesses to present his case. *These are not necessarily eye-witnesses, but witnesses who have some knowledge of the assault/strangulation, ie. family members, friends, cop.
This is a preliminary hearing prior to a trial on this charge. It has nothing to do with the murder case. #justiceforjholie
