Ok, walk with me here (and ignore the fact that I'm using the EXACT same photo I just posted 30 seconds ago). •
On the left - that was taken in March. 3 months ago. I was just about to start rowing (indoor, I'm not on the water yet). I wanted to try it because I couldn't do anything else. My knee was done and running wasn't a choice anymore. I was sedentary. I barely moved around. •
Fast forward to today. I go to on average 4 classes a week. Not because I have to, because I want to. I didn't think I was really changing. My weight hasn't changed that much. I haven't taken measurements (although I should). I am more mindful of what I'm eating because who wants to eat 🙊when they've just crushed their workout. Then I took this picture and had a long awaited moment. It wasn't an aha moment. It was a "well damn, look at my face" moment. Yes, there is a lightening filter on the second photo; however, my EYES are smiling! It doesn't hurt that my cheeks look a little thinner😜 either. •
My point in all this. Stop focusing on what you aren't seeing. Find something you love and hold it tight. Change plans to fit it in. Make the expense work if it's something YOU are passionate about. The change will come from the inside. •
Thank you, @rofitnessaustin for helping me get here today! With such a strong community of like minded people, it's impossible to fail!
