Do you ever start something and by the end of it realize you haven't given it your all? Well that was me with the first round of this program.
I skipped a few workouts, and I felt that I didn't push myself very much when it came to the strength training portion of the program. I was doing it just to do it instead of creating the challenge that I enjoy. That's the whole reason I love my workouts. I can challenge myself to be better every day. I didn't beat myself up about it, but I decided I wanted to make a change.
I was originally going to start a another program instead of doing a second round of this one, but I wanted to really give it my all to get he full effect of what this program can do for me. So today, I increased my weights. You would think an increase of 2 pounds wouldn't be a whole lot, but let me tell you... it definitely is! Especially when you have two pounds extra in each hand!
It was tough, but it was doable. I pushed myself and challenged myself, but didn't overdo it. That's how I really know I didn't do my best last time.
So, another workout is in the books and I'm on my way to really putting my best foot forward in this second round! Shift Shop, let's see what you've got!
