MY 200th POST so I thought I’d make it a sentimental one.
In January, I’d been back in the UK for around a year and I was feeling like life was not going in the direction I wanted it to go. That’s a frustrating and depressing feeling, and I know I needed a change.
Since leaving London in February, I’ve spent a month learning German in Berlin, ran a training programme for teachers working with refugees in Greece, and worked on pre-sessional courses at the Universities of Bristol and Nottingham. And tomorrow morning, I’m flying out to re-join the International House family by joining the academic management team at a school in the Polish mountains. It’s been a crazy year but am so proud of everything I’ve achieved.
There is no excuse whatsoever for people to be unhappy with their lives - there is *always* something you can do to change it. Massive thanks to all my amazing friends who have visited me, called me and messaged me through it all to keep me sane - love you all 😍
I hope everyone I know is living their absolute best life at the moment!
