This is a rocker step that I use to measure an athlete's more stationary power. The reason I don't use a stationary jump with my volleyball or basketball athletes is that we rarely see many efforts performed from a stand still. The idea is we should be measuring performance in the gym similar to the output an athlete has in their respective sport.
A static jump is quite useful in sports such as football and hockey, where absolute power is much more of a concern. In volleyball and basketball we 9/10 see some element of movement in to a jump effort. 🚀🚀🚀 @sabrinasafranyos with the demo
