[BURPEES] This is my 4 year old niece Jasmine. Last time I saw her I taught her how to do burpees.
Here she is telling a story about my 'friend' (actually my OH and her Uncle!) telling her to do 10 burpees. Her reaction is priceless and I wholeheartedly agree with her!

Not gonna lie, today's run commute was not an easy one. It could be because I did a @juliabfit workout last night and my body hadn't recovered. Or because my rucksack was heavy with my packed lunch. I just need to remember that not every run can be a PB. The important thing is that I got out there and did it.

If you're someone who tends to dip in and out of fitness, or you struggle to stay consistent with healthy eating, or after years of trying hard you just can't seem to get to a point where you're happy with your fitness levels and/or the condition of your body, this could be for you.

It might also be for you if you're feeling like you want to reconnect with your body, to get more comfortable in your own skin, and even if you just generally want to pursue a happier way of "being" in life.

You haven't seen this photo in a while! I call it "Bigger plates, smaller portions". On our #irishroadtrip, we invested in new dishes and silverware at the Beleek factory. I love the white elegance and am happy to see the IKEA stuff go!

This week, I am starting a 10 week program with #shannonsnutrition (thanks to @fromstrength_to_strength for the tip). I gained 8 pounds after London Marathon and can't seem to shake it off. Shannon looks a lot at macros, which will be a new focus for me. This week though, I am getting into the habit of tracking all my food on @myfitnesspal and reducing portion size. #beforeandafter photos coming soon!

In this week’s @Juliabfit 20 minute challenge we are blasting the core, booty and arms!

All you need to do is smash out as many rounds as you can of this circuit ace moves in 20 mins. (This is a toughie, especially if you’re new to the ball, so 1 round is definitely still a great workout!)
.

You’re totally free to go at your own pace and modify the exercises to your own level – all that matters is you give it your best and have fun!
.

Here’s the circuit:
. 💥Pike – 10 reps
.
💥Sit-up – 10 reps
.
💥Knee tuck – 10 reps
.
💥Ball pass – 10 reps
.
💥Foot tap – 20 reps
.
💥Glute raise – 10 reps per side
.
💥Plank tap row – 20 reps
.
💥Knee raise sit-up – 20 reps
.

Tip: Keave your ego at the door. You’re going to get wobbly, so don’t take yourself too seriously. We’re just goofing around with a huge rubber ball, enjoy it!

[BACK TO MY ROOTS] My Sunday gym session was 2 upper body workouts from @juliabfit. The first from the Pheonix series working in pulls ups, press ups and chin ups. The second a dumbbell workout from the Forge programme.
