I just spent 3 weeks working on speed, agility and strength. It felt really good to stick to a program and build my strength back up!! Today I started a 2 week yoga challenge for myself. I put away my weights and got out my mat. It felt good to slow down a bit.
I still worked up a sweat and I still got my heart rate up but slowed down my mind.
This is definitely a great benefit of having over 600 workouts at my disposal. Why do I push myself so hard? Because I know I can do it!! I spent so much time sick that when I started to build myself back up, I saw how strong (mentally and physically) I can be.
