For everyone on my Instagram stories today who said they don’t understand what an exercise snack is here is a brief explanation.
Exercise snacking is about performing some form of exercise, or movement, for a short period of time.
My earlier video today demonstrated one idea of how this might work.
Often our biggest barrier to exercise is time. We think we don’t have time. So instead of abandoning exercise completely, exercise snacking allows you to do something sweet and short in the time available. If you’ve got 10 minutes you’ve definitely got time to squeeze a little exercise into your day. You’ve even got time to move more in 2 minutes and my wonderful fitness friend @pinkphys is worth following for lots of #trytwominutes ideas
