I can still remember the day I had finally decided enough was enough & it was time to make a change!! -
Enough of feeling bad about myself, feeling like 💩, unhappy with what I saw on the outside, and unhappy with how I felt mentally on the inside! -
It was the constant cycle of doing well, then feeling like crap... & tbh the yo-yoing lifestyle was exhausting!! 😩
Until that day...the day I looked in the Mirror and said to myself —> “Josie, that is enough!! You are done treating your body like crap, feeding your mind all that negative talk, & enough with feeling like absolutely 💩 bc of the choices you keep making. You deserve better & starting today, all that B.S. ends. NOW” ✋🏻
Since that day 👆🏻 I’ve learned to appreciate me & my mind/body and fueling it with the proper foods it needs to perform at its best! Don’t get me wrong, I still love my sweets (hello chocolate & ice cream🍫🍦) but I’ve learned to enjoy them in moderation!! -
Are there still days that I enjoy myself a little too much?? Absolutely. But I have learned to listen to my body & to not let that one day turn into one week!! I choose to say no to foods now bc I know it makes me feel like 💩!!
But most of all, I’ve learned that this is a ✨L I F E S T Y L E✨ not a quick fix or a fad diet! Everyday is another day of my >>journey<< of bettering myself & learning to love my body!! -
It hasn’t always been easy, but it has definitely been WoRtH iT & I’m so glad I’ve chosen this healthy lifestyle!!💕 -
