We often see moments here on social media and take them to be the every day reality.
But that's not what real life looks like.
Real life doesn't look like a defined core and flexed mommy muscles all the time--even though I am psyched about that progress. It's sitting on your messy bedroom floor feeding your toddler Cheerios at 6 am. Does your stomach have rolls and lines when you do that? Mine does! 16 months and TWO babies later!
Real life doesn't look like a clean house all day long. Real life is the laundry piled up on the couch waiting to be folded. If ever. (Currently there's like 3 loads on my couch...) Real life doesn't involve having make up on all day long (at least, not if you're me...😂). Real life is living in a pony tail with 5 day old hair, wearing glasses all morning, and wearing sweaty workout clothes, and trusting that maybe today will be the day to shower and get ready. It is Friday after all. And Friday is date night. So yeah getting ready is in my future. 😜
My point? Trust what you see, be inspired. But don't take it as reality 24/7. You're not seeing the whole picture if you believe you have to live the "perfect" fit, clean, organized, etc. life.
If you have someone you admire or follow because they inspire you, I hope admire them for their authenticity, and because following their story makes YOU feel like a better person, like you can get up and DO today better than yesterday. That's my hope for you.
I want YOU to feel like an amazing person, just for showing up today because YOU ARE! If you don't believe it yet, then take my word for it and my belief in you and let that carry you until you DO believe in you.
If learning to believe in yourself where you're at, and wanting to better your lifestyle every day a step at a time is something you would like support doing, PLEASE don't stay silent! I want to help! Comment ME or message me personally so we can connect!
Real life is messy, full of rolls and cheesy smiles, unfolded laundry, dirty dishes, and the occasional bar of dark chocolate mixed in with all those strawberries and carrot slices. So stop comparing yourself and go LIVE your #joyfit life!
