A bronze statue called "Garden Walk," of a woman among a bed of flowers, stands in downtown Joseph. Oregon.
Joseph used to be known for timber, but these days it’s all about bronze. With the world-renowned Valley Bronze foundry in town – not to mention TW and Parks bronze foundries in nearby Enterprise – the whole town is crazy about bronze statues. There are dozens of them lining the streets downtown, and filling up art galleries and local businesses as well. 📸 by @halejamesb #Oregon#Bronze#josephoregon#easternoregon#statue

Shout out to the love of my life @bigboiclimbs, when I watch YouTube videos of animals interrupting sporting events instead of ski touring tutorials he teaches me what he knows. It's not even Christmas and we've had two snow adventures, Mt. Hood and the Wallowas. It's gonna be a good season 🙌🏻🏄🏼♀️❄️⛷
Ice Lake is one of the most coveted destinations in the #Wallowas and, as such, campsites can be at a premium on summer weekends. The blue #alpine lake is nestled high in the mountains, at nearly 8,000 feet above sea level. The map said 6.5 miles. The trail sign said 9 miles. In any case, it took 8.5 hours to hike to the Lake and return. The weather was perfect when I started but by the time I got to the lake, it was blowing hard with gusts of 50mph. I had to strap the camera to a tree to take the photo. All I can say is that it was cold and windy! Oh and I found fresh mountain lion tracks while there. #MyFujifilm#FujifilmX_US#travelorgegon#oregon#josephoregon#winterhike#winter#mountain#fresh
