I did gym today.
Today i also decided i much prefer to go to the gym before the sun rises. Or when the sun is not coming directly in the windows. Cause man it can get quite hot in some spots with that sunshine.
I just move to a more shaded spot in the gym. - might have to wear my sunnies next time.

Fun fact of today.

I bought this singlet yesterday as a goal singlet, as its a size Large. Normall i go straight for the xxl and xl, they had sold out of that size so i thought fuck it and bought it. Well didnt i get a suprise this morning when i put it on to see how it much it didnt fit by and IT FUCKING FIT!
IM WEARING A LARGE NOT AN EXTRA LARGE!!!!! Yes its a bit tight, but it still fits. IT FITS!
Im not only shock and in awe of it.

Wednesdays use too be PT days. But thats changed. I now do PT twice a week. Mondays and Thursdays.

After a rest day on friday. Back to the gym today.
Today consisted of more step ups.
You would think i liked them, but in actual fact i think they are the devil. But it is one if the best cardio workouts for me.
My legs get extremely week after about 5 minutes on the cross trainer to the point im shaking.
I hate the treadmill, i dont know why i just dont like it. But i do it.
Today i did 20 sit ups in a row! What an achivement for me. I could barely do them with a resistance band to help me. Now i can pump them out. But boy are those invisable abbs sore!

Wednesdays aka PT day.
Unfortunately due to school holidays my pt is unable to do early morning sessions.
Did i let this stop me?
Nope! I workes just as hard.
My legs where shaking.
I was sweating.
I was out of breath.
I had to sit down after 60 fast step ups.
I have now mastered 5 elevated push ups on the bar next to me here.
When i first started i could not even do one.

No
Was today a struggle to get out of bed?
Yes.
Today did I just want to do minimum?
Yes.
Is recovery after plastics hard?
Yes.
Have I lost a lot of stamina after having so much time off from cardio?
Yes.
Am I going to make excuses?
No.
Did I let the thoughts in my head take over and let me submit to my own doubts?
No.
I have a lot of training and preparing to do for my #10km run at the end of the month for @runmelbourne
Today I had a shorter time span to work with than I do on a Saturday so instead of talking myself down I decided to do as much as I could in 45 mins, this included a 3.3km warmup/run and 1km on the elliptical machine at my friendly and always motivating @jettsclydenorth and @sutherland_fitness getting me on zombie run!
did I wanna give up and lie on the floor? Yes but I kept going, knowing I have others around me doing and preparing for the same run it gives me the motivation I need to keep going and I owe it to my charity @ruokday to push and do as much as I can.
I’m very proud this morning, I managed to do the 3.3km in 27 mins and the elliptical with 1km in under 10 mins. Setting myself new targets is refreshing and also highly motivating when I want to continue to push myself as much as I can. Today was a good day to #getupandmove

Yesterday i had a body scan done at the gym. For the 8 week challenge.

Whilst im not shocked at the results. Im very disappointed that i let myself get this far. Whilst i have lost now 14kgs since i started this journey, i cant see or feel any difference. (besides being able to now squat 20 times in a row when i prevoius could not do one correctly)
In 8 weeks i will be getting another scan done.
My goal to achieve within this 8 weeks?
I still not sure. But any improvement on my next scan will be an achievement in itself.
Baby steps.
