Fact or Fiction: Rams RB Todd Gurley will bounce back after a down year in 2016 and will finish as a top-10 fantasy RB this season.
Despite being a huge disappointment, Gurley finished as fantasy's No. 16 RB, making him a decent RB2. The main reason for Todd Gurley's struggles was the all-around inefficiency of the offense around him. The passing game was poor with sub-par QB play, to say the least. The offensive line was also pretty bad, failing to open up enough holes for Gurley to run through. However, the team added LT #AndrewWhitworth and although he doesn't resolve all of the line's issues, he certainly improves it. The passing game lost its top wideout, #KennyBritt, but with the (hopeful) development of #JaredGoff, the 1st pick in the 2016 NFL draft, along with a coaching change, the passing game should improve at least a little bit as, well, it really can't be much worse. I don't expect Gurley to light the fantasy world on fire, but a finish in the latter end of the top-10 wouldn't shock me. However, I'm going to lean towards "fiction" simply because someone partially unexpected, perhaps someone like #LeonardFournette, will likely break out and finish ahead of him. I do expect Gurley to finish in the top-15 though.
