Cannot even begin to explain how much we fell in love with restaurant chain, Sukiya, while in Japan. So much so, that we've desperately tried to recreate it's yummyness with our own Gyudon beef bowl.
Simply put, it's tender beef strips and onion cooked in dashi, soy sauce, sake and mirin on top of rice. No bowl is complete without pickled ginger, and lots of it! 🍶
