Flowers from Jane Austen’s home in Chawton #traveldaily #england #janeausten

The tree Jane Austen touched at her home 😭😌🙌🏽 #janeausten #englandadventures #chawton

Happy weekend Dear Friends 💛 i am currently reading Always Never Yours by Emily Wibberley and i love all of the things about the book! The cover is so cute and the story is enjoyable! I miss reading YA contemporary, so glad I found out this book! .
Actually this is the book i want to read this month, but will see then, and this is my first ever Jane Austen's i will read 🙈 i know i read a lot of classics but shame on me I haven't read her books at all, if you have already read the entire her books what's your favorite? Because i want to pick another next month.
PS : i am in the middle of watching football 😆 (you must already know in my story) is there any of you who love watching sport? .

Day two of the #SCReadathon challenge: Favorite author

God this is gonna be hard. I have so many: J. K. Rowling, Amine Maalouf, Jane Austen, Darynda Jones, Charlie Cochet and many many more.
Which is why I decided to talk about my most recent favorite one: @veschwab
Reading the ADSOM series has been one hell of an experience. Her writing is very different from anything I've ever read, it feels like you are witnessing the world building in front of your eyes and the characters being fleshed out from nothing.
Special shoutout to @artsymusings for introducing me to the series and the author! ~Belly

Happy Saturday #bookstagrammers hope it has been a good one.
Mine have been going by sooo fast. Have been spending most of it at my brother’s place and spending son time with my very cute godson/nephew.

So if someone else played #janeausten heroes whooo would you choose? I had to post this #kitharington Bc of the water🤣reminds me of the miniseries

(This is written quite tongue-in-cheek, read accordingly; I am actually much enjoying this book, and Hugo does have interesting observations. 😉)
.
I may be alone in this thought, but Les Mis is probably going to be the death of me. Every time the story really gets going, Victor Hugo diverts into a set of essays on the battle of Waterloo and the oh-so-beloved ideas of liberté & révolution and how they changed the course of history before being themselves diverted by the English winning that battle and it’s just about as dry as it sounds... (dude, have you never heard of pacing?)
.
Note: someone should make a candle for Waterloo - a woodwick with scents of gunpowder & bad luck & thievery and IT NEVER BURNS OUT. Ahem.
.
Or Jean Valjean and Cosette are fleeing Javert - you’re on the edge of your seat, will they escape?! - and then comes AN ENTIRE BOOK and then some soliloquizing about a convent, its origin and practices - including a whole chapter about a convent from a separate order that has even less bearing on the story than the rest of this monologue - he next moves on to convents in general and their place in the 19th century (spoiler: they should be protected because liberté!! But they are awful because modernité and le progres!); then comes a lecture on philosophy and theology and what is God? — while you’re still asking this whole time “BUT what happens next to Jean and Cosette?! You know - your actual main characters?” (Sorry, I forgot, the Infinite is his main character... 😉)
.
But he randomly has these gems of sentences and thoughts scattered through the pedantic sermonizing, which means I can’t in good conscience skip through. (Throw some sparklies into the Waterloo candle to symbolize those.)
.
So here is a pretty stack of books to distract me from the Everest that’s awaiting me on my Kindle. 😏🤓😉
