I am thankful for my mother who not only taught me how to cook, but also taught me that pork > turkey, always. Last night we made a pork loin roast with bosc pears from her garden, accompanied by a Marsala wine cream sauce.
The “You’ll Shoot Your RYE Out” cocktail at @moxynh is crafted by the talented (and a wee bit cheeky) GM Owen Wolfertz. It pays homage to my favorite-of-all-time holiday movie, “Christmas Story.” I had to order one. Wolfertz and chef/owner Matt Louis make up the leadership of a dynamic and focused team of culinary professionals at Moxy. The well-established restaurant is at the forefront of in food and beverage on the seacoast (and in New England). Louis is a passionate chef, deeply invested in flavor, purpose, and history.
