Ok, real stuff ahead...yesterday was a hard day. I knew it had been a rough month, dealing with injury and illness for half of it, but I was still hoping for a loss. I gained 3 pounds, but lost 4 total inches. I honestly spent the morning feeling like a failure, despite my brain reminding me of my NSV this month...clothes fitting better, more stamina during the day, fewer cravings for sweets, better posture.... So, what did I do? Cry? Yes. Yes, I did. But then I set myself to the task at hand. I made a list of goals for the day, and decided to set specific goals for each week of the month. Then, I dragged my still-feeling-sorry-for-myself self out to the deck, to the beautiful view of the water, and I got on the bike. (#iwillnotwastethisday #iwillbeglad #rendcollective)
And then, today? I had another great workout and kept my fasting hours. #IF Because Victory. Doesn't. Quit.
If you have a bad week, month even, don't throw in the towel, keep moving forward.
